Domaine La Tour Beaumont - Pierre Morgeau
- Cœur de Tuffeau: one enclosed parcel: Cœur de Tuffeau is a Haut-Poitou sauvignon from Le Clos, a single walled parcel where soft limestone reaches the surface. Fermentation takes place in oak casks; the bottled wine then rests in a cellar cut into the tuffeau. Its name connects a specific vineyard with the rock surrounding its cellar.
- From the family farm to the table: Pierre Morgeau returned to work with his father Gilles after five years in Burgundy. The old stable, barn and cellar now accommodate winemaking and visitors. For Cœur de Tuffeau, the estate recommends serving at 10–12°C.
