Four more Côte de Beaune villages
- Chorey-lès-Beaune: At the foot of the Côte near Beaune and Aloxe-Corton. Pinot Noir reds dominate, with Chardonnay whites also permitted; it has Village status without a Premier Cru tier.
- Monthélie: Between Volnay and Auxey-Duresses, with Pinot Noir reds and Chardonnay whites at Village and Premier Cru level. Do not confuse the commune with a similarly named Meursault climat.
- Saint-Romain: A higher side-valley origin beyond Auxey-Duresses, with Pinot Noir reds and Chardonnay whites. Named lieux-dits can appear on Village wines; there is no Premier Cru tier.
- Maranges: The southern Côte de Beaune reference, across Cheilly-lès-Maranges, Dezize-lès-Maranges and Sampigny-lès-Maranges. Red Pinot Noir and white Chardonnay include Village and Premier Cru wines.
