The regional route
- Northern vineyards: Chablis and the Grand Auxerrois, around the Yonne and Serein.
- Côte d’Or: Côte de Nuits in the north, Côte de Beaune in the south.
- Côte Chalonnaise: The 5 principal Village names run from Bouzeron to Montagny.
- Mâconnais: Southern Burgundy, with Mâcon regional labels and distinct white-wine Village appellations.
- Beaujolais: Study its Gamay and 10 crus separately; Beaujolais crus are not Burgundy Grand Cru vineyards.
